Metropolitan Transportation Plan

What is a Metropolitan Transportation Plan?
The AAMPO develops a Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP), formally known as a Long-Range Transportation Plan (LRTP), every five years. The MTP provides a framework for guiding the AAMPO's transportation investments and policy decisions over the next 25 years by identifying a regional vision for the multi-modal transportation system through stakeholder and community input. The MTP includes a prioritized list of multi-modal system improvements that fit within the fiscal constraints of anticipated future AAMPO and federal transportation funds.

Forward 2045
Forward 2045 is the AAMPO's current MTP. It was formally approved in 2020 and has a planning horizon of the years 2020-2045. Below is a link to the report document and the appendix.
