Ames Area MPO

To further the region's transportation planning goals and objectives, the AAMPO occasionally conducts additional studies outside of the typical core planning document updates. The need for such studies is usually identified in the Metropolitan Transportation Plan and they are ultimately programmed in the Transportation Planning Work Program. Special studies usually occur for specific areas or purposes that require a more detailed analysis than is typically conducted as a part of a higher level region-wide plan. The following are the final reports for recent special studies conducted by the AAMPO and its member agencies:
